Detachment (2011)

Detachment is a 2011 drama film about a substitute teacher who drifts from classroom to classroom and attempts to connect with his students. Henry Barthes attempts to help and befriend anyone he comes in contact with. This niceness comes at a cost as at times he becomes too connected with those around him as he isn’t the stable teacher he pretends to be. Directed by Tony Kaye and was written by Carl Lund.
